MY STORY
I fell in love with classical music when I was given my first classical music CD with the music of Mozart and Brahms. Shortly after I fell in love with jazz music after hearing Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond's 'Take-5.' My parent's bought me my first piano when I was four years old and my grandma taught me my first major scale. Since then you couldn't get me away from the piano.  I studied piano since then and continued my piano studies at Ball State University under Dr. James Helton. There I received the Jean Kohler Piano scholarship award and a piano performance degree. I have been teaching and performing as much as possible ever since. I am originally from Muncie, IN but I am now living in Longmont, CO.
I recognize the potential in each one of my students. I love what I do and it makes me happy to be able to share my passion with others. Through my teaching I aim to instill a strong foundation of piano technique, confidence, and a diversity of musical skills/knowledge.  I am a patient, adaptable, and professional piano instructor ready to help you reach your goals.
